Councillor Shori has been the leader of Bury Council for 18 Months and we discussed the borough-wide issues he has had to address in his time in office.
We spoke at length about his desire to improve the environmental health of Bury, including his involvement in the big clean switch campaign www.bigcleanswitch.org a UK first scheme being piloted in Manchester which aims to get people to swap to clean energy tariffs and the Environmental engagement events which are coming up over the next few months.
We also put to rights the best way to fill in potholes and even got a worldwide exclusive.
