48 Hours Schedule

The schedule for THE BIG 48 HOUR BROADCAST is as follows:

 

Saturday

Starting your morning off bright and early at 9 am is the Saturday Breakfast Show, they’ll be talking about things that are to come on the 48 Hour weekend and will enable us to get the Presenters ready!


09:00 – 11:00 – Saturday Breakfast with Jamie Swain & Nick Roddy

Jamie and Nick. Waking you up and starting your weekend with a mix of great chat, fun features, and top music.


11:00 – 12:00 – 48 Hour Broadcast Warmup

The Warmup Show will be hosted by Jamie and Nick

12:00 – 14:00 – Graham Nelmes

Welcoming you into the 48 Hours, Graham will be on air with a number of special guests, talking about the station.

14:00 – 15:00 – Community Corner

Pastor David will host Community Corner where we’ll be hearing about model railways… choo choo all aboard Community Corner!

15:00 – 16:00 – Show Tunes

We’ll be playing an hour of Show Tunes to get your acapella in tune for the weekend, some of the songs we’ll be playing requires a sing-along!

16:00 – 18:00 – Mike Kilburn & Louise Bugeja

Cheese or Cracker meets Northern Soul, 50’s 60’s 70’s plus any new chart songs we have.

 

18:00 – 20:00 – Ged Rose

Easy Listening. A range of easy listening music from 70’s and 80’s to get you in the mood for a Saturday night, or if you’re in the hospital, bringing back the memories from the good old days.

20:00 – 00:00 – David Murphy

Bringing ‘The Saturday Night Takeover’ back with co-host Karen and a number of guest presenters, this will make your Saturday Night worth staying in for!


Sunday 

Taking you into the early hours of Sunday Morning doing the night shift.

Talkathon, 2 hours, non-stop talking with no music.

There’ll be an hour of popular classical music for the first hour, then from classical to classic, an hour of Beatles hits in chronological order

Smoove Sundays. A great way to start your day. A mixture of random music which is all very relaxing from the 50s / 60s / 70s / 80s all classic tunes that everyone has heard and have at least one favorite. Bringing the sunshine to your Sunday – also included what’s happening in the Sunday papers, usually funny and light-hearted items.

Soul Survivors DISCO Inferno, 2 hours of massive disco hits from the 70s till the late noughties… Let’s boogie!

12:00 – 14:00 – Paul Brady

14:00 – 16:00 – Kayleigh Hadfield

Playing songs from many decades along with weekly brainteasers with themed shows around certain people and seasons.

Playing the songs that people might think are cheesy, i.e.: Sugar Sugar or others might think the track is a Cracker, anyway, playing all genres of music are included from 50, 60’s and upwards. This will be Mikes last show with Roch Valley Radio.
