History

The History of Roch Valley Radio

Roch Valley Radio was formed in 2006 from the amalgamation of Birch Radio, Rochdale, HFM of Heywood and the hospital radio service provided by the Bury Lions Club.

Broadcasting commenced in April 2007 to Fairfield General Hospital, followed by Rochdale Infirmary and Springhill Hospice 12 months later.
